In our next episode, we’re exploring the Netherlands’ role in the world of hydrogen. The Netherlands is one of the frontrunners in hydrogen innovation, but in order to meet the climate goals we need ask ourselves: Where do we stand now?

We’ll look at how hydrogen will be implemented in the Netherlands and if the government’s plans for hydrogen by 2030 and 2050 are feasible. We’ll also find out what it takes to start a hydrogen project and what challenges lie ahead.

To help us understand all this, we’ll chat with experts Jörg Gigler from TKI Nieuw Gas and Ed Buddenbaum from GroenvermogenNL.

The Design Phase was brought to a conclusion with

The Design Phase was brought to a conclusion with the Design Presentation where we showed the design of the first Eco-Runner driving on the public road. To receive a license plate we need to take the 1301 requirements from the RDW into account. We went into the Production Phase where we made the shell of the car, the powertrain and important parts like side mirrors and the trailing arm. The Production Phase has progressed into the Assembly Phase where we put all the parts together. Before entering the Assembly Phase we look back at the Production Phase with this recap!

Last week we had our Design Presentation where the design of the Eco-Runner XIV was revealed. Here are some pictures of this exciting evening.

We presented a design where all the requirements of the RDW are integrated. For the first time we need side mirrors, bigger windows, brighter lights and a steering lock. Enough challenges to overcome.

Thank you all for being there! We had an amazing evening full of friends, family and hydrogen :)
